Back in the summer of 1996, heeding the famous words of Horace Greeley, yours truly set off on a grand adventure to pursue fame and fortune in Los Angeles. It lasted all of three weeks before this lost and confused kid (with no tangible job skills) was on his way back to Buffalo. One good thing that came out of it was a better focus on what I wanted to do with my life. And while the acting bug hadn’t yet been flushed from my system, a career in video editing didn’t seem so bad. And so, several months later, “My City Underground” was born. This video (so I’m told) was a favorite feature (shown several times throughout the 68 episode span). Ironically, I eventually did end up permanently in California about 7 years later-though a few hundred miles north of La La Land. (Viva la Silicon Valley!)
