A Homework Assignment

Do it. Do it now.

Three times in my quickly moving 42+ years on this planet I have written to important people in my life to let them know what they meant to me. (And I DO mean hand written, WELL into the digital age.) In 2 of those 3 cases, the person I wrote to passed away within six months of receiving said letter. Bittersweet, yes. It’s a small gesture, with no investment other than your time (unless you have no pen, paper, or postage stamps around). In all three cases, they were important people who had a profound impact on my life. There is no better way than a heartfelt letter to give someone a beautiful feeling/memory they will surely carry with them for life. And I STILL have a few more people on my list…
So make your own list. It doesn’t need to be three people. One will suffice. Do it. Do it now. Why are you still reading this? Get crackin’!

  1. does that mean your letters hae the ability to kill people? if so, please send one to each senator, because they forgot to include us in the bailout

  2. Such life-affirming stuff, Steve. Tipping cows down in your neck of the woods is free, no? You don’t need a bailout. 🙂
