I can’t remember what year this was exactly, 1997 or 1998. And though the twin towers still stood then, I saw very little of them or any other skyscrapers for that matter. It was a surgical strike: a sparsely-attended gig at CBGB’s, a night on a hotal floor, then back to Buffalo by car. Good times.
