I have only one call into AT&T so far. But I expect numerous others, beginning tomorrow. AT&T dropped the ball on this and Apple doesn’t give a rat’s ass about it. We techno geeks/gadget whores are real suckers.

Update: 45 hours and counting. Second call to AT&T. Their excuse: routine system maintenance to be completed by tomorrow. They asked for a number to be called back. Any bets on whether my phone rings tomorrow? I smell a number of class action lawsuits on the horizon.

Update: 51 hours later, I received the wondrous email informing me of my heretofore beautiful brick’s newborn functionality. I must say, it was well worth the wait. More on this gadget later.
